WebTools E-Commerce.
Kudo Systems also have a shopping cart system available which
plugs into our WebTools product. The shopping cart system includes
add to cart, end user shopping, View Cart pages,
Shopper Detail pages and links to secure Credit Card authentication
services for live online transactions. Kudo is pleased to be
able to offer our E-Commerce option for the amazingly
low price of NZ$999.00!
Additional charges encountered with the E-commerce option is
an increase in the monthly software licensing fee. There is a
monthly increase of NZ$10.00 for up to 99 products, NZ$20.00
for 100 - 249 products and NZ$30.00 for greater than 250 products.

Additionally, successful applicant's will be required to pay a
NZ$25.00* monthly license fee. This will be invoiced via an electronic
invoice to your nominated e-mail address each month and then direct
debited from your account with any additional charges you may
have incurred. (See following section ~ 'extra charges'.)
Web Site Hosting Charges:
You may be aware that running a web
site requires hosting on a remote server specifically set up
for hosting web sites. This service comes at a cost, which
covers: Disk space usage, Bandwidth usage, Back-up services,
on call IT support staff etc. With WebTools, your monthly hosting
charge (usually around NZ$40 - NZ$75 depending on the services
required) is built into your monthly licensing fee.
That's right, so you won't pay an additional hosting fee if
you have a WebTools site.
Custom Site Design Option
Some business may not find a WebTools design that meets their needs, or may have
a specialised product range or corporate image they want reflected in their design
or even may not want to 'share' their design with other businesses. The WebTools
answer to this is quite simple, we can design you a custom site design specifically
for your business for the fixed price of only NZ$500.00*! This way, you get a
fantastic customised Web Site design and the power of a WebTools web site for
only NZ$1999.00*!
New Site Design
Extra charges could be in the form of a new web site design.
You can change your design to a new WebTools site design for
only NZ$749.95*! That's right, only $749.95* to completely update
your site design. So if you see a new WebTools design released
at any stage which you feel better meets your business needs,
you can you can update your design for the low one-off charge
of NZ$749.95*
Content Insertion
Kudo* also offers the additional service of providing customise
content design. Many of our clients are happy to be able to do
ongoing maintenance to their web site, but the thought of doing
the initial content design they find daunting. That's where we
can help! While the tools offered through WebTools are extremely
powerful, Kudo* staff can get right into the HTML code to give
your pages that extra 'oomph'. Our design team have additional
tools to push otherwise restrictive HTML code all around the screen,
giving us complete design flexibility!
If you would like Kudo* to do the content on your site, our suggestion
would be for you to add the text to your pages, or send our team your content in a word document, then request
for us to insert your content. Additionally, you could send your content,
along with your customer code to info@kudo.co.nz. All content
should be sent in plain text or word formats. Images should be
supplied as jpg's or gif's and attached to your e-mail

Content revision is charged at the hourly rate of NZ$115.00*
per hour.
Additional Button/Page selection
While Kudo* has attempted to include a wide selection of pages
you can choose from to set up your WebTools site, there are from
time to time special requirements by some clients for custom pages.
These may be to meet specific product names or religious requirements
etc. Kudo* can meet these needs by setting up unique buttons.
This service is charged at our hourly rate of NZ$115.00* per hour.

Library Images
Clients who require customised site design's are responsible for
the supply of the images used in the design. Alternatively, Kudo*
has a fantastic relationship with our library image suppliers
and can offer a package deal with a custom site design of NZ$99.00*
per design for all library images required in your design. Usually
these images are licensed for NZ$480.00* EACH!! So this is a huge
savings Kudo* is happy to pass on to it's customers!
Support Charges
While Kudo* has made every effort to create a product that
is user friendly, intuitive and simple to use, we understand that
we are catering for a diverse audience, some of which may never
have used a PC before! Because of this, we have spent a lot of
time attempting to provide easy 'step by step' help, assisting
our customers with their every help request. This has been achieved
with comprehensive FAQ (frequently asked questions) support found
within the WebTools log-in pages. We are also working on some
online training tutorials, which will walk you through the general
maintenance requests, from how to insert an image, to how to link
from text within your page content to other pages within your
site.
While every effort has been taken to provide thorough tech support,
some of you may find it easier, or faster to phone our support
phone, and be talked through your issues step by step. Kudo* has
a NZ$19.95* charge for such support calls per thread (query).
This means, if you phone with a request on Monday and feel you
need clarification again on Tuesday, you'll only be charged once!
Each support call is logged within the WebTools database, so you
needn't fear Kudo* staff will forget your previous calls!
Please note ~ If you have multiple training questions/requests,
it may be more cost viable to send them in a support request e-mail
to support@kudo.net.nz for the one off charge of NZ$19.95*.

Domain Name Charges
Businesses who don't currently have their own domain name
may like to get Kudo* to register one for them as part of their
Site application. There is an annual fee for domain registration
of NZ$65.00* per domain. (Fee's based on .nz domain extensions,
including .co.nz, .net.nz and .org.nz).
Alternatively, Kudo* may charge a $5.00* monthly fee for the use of domain name(s) registered to Kudo* Systems NZ Limited, where such domain names may be used by multiple parties/customers or Kudo* clients.
Businesses who do have their a business domain name and wish
to use it for a Kudo* WebTools site can supply their Domain Holder
ID and password, and Kudo* will transfer it FREE of charge.
Additional E-mail (POP) Accounts
Each WebTools site comes with 5 default POP accounts (incur a $10.00* one off setup fee). So you
could set up e-mail accounts for your business like this:

accounts@yourdomain.co.nz
webmaster@yourdomain.co.nz
staffmember@yourdomain.co.nz etc.
Additional POP accounts can be purchased in groups of five(5)
at NZ$10.00 per month. This fee will be added to your monthly
licensing fee.
By default, Kudo* could set up one 'dump' POP account, which will
act as the catch all account for your domain name. This means,
any mail sent to your domain which doesn't have a specific account
set up for it will go to your dump account.
Web Browser Upgrades
To use the full power of a WebTools site, you are required
to have a recent copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer. These upgrades
are FREE of charge and can be downloaded from: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/ie/default.mspx
From time to time, Kudo* may also release FREE of charge new
versions of IE browsers on CD to Kudo* clients (saving time consuming
downloads). Contact your Kudo sales representative or support@kudo.co.nz
for more details.
Search Engine Submission
Search Engine registration is deemed highly important as it allows
your site to be ranked in order of importance when viewers
search for a particular product or service. With the Meta
Option, key descriptive words and phrases as to the nature
of your business will be submitted to the Search Engines.
'Meta-Tags' will be coded into each page of the Web site,
so that Search Engine crawlers (which scan the web updating
their indexes with information found on Web Sites) will store
these effectively in the Search Engine Indexes.
When the Search Engine option is selected, Kudo* will compile
a simple written report of submitted site information. All submissions
will be documented to assist and enable future updating of indexed
information. This report is a useful tool for your future registration
with the international and local search engines, and will include
- where necessary - passwords to enable site information to be
updated on some search engine databases.
The search engine submission is an optional extra priced from NZ$450.00*
