Each client is required to choose a site design (or decide if a custom design is required), to fill in the application form and to pay the set-up fee and first month's licensing charge. This is enough to activate your your site! Additionally, you will need to e-mail or post your company logo and business name to Kudo* for insertion into your home and detail page design. Kudo* will then e-mail you your username and password so you can access your site to begin setting it up.

Next you will need to fill in the direct debit form supplied by your reseller (or you can download the form here), and post it back to Kudo* before the first months hosting expires.

If you have an existing domain name you wish to use for your site, you will need to send through your Domain Holder ID, so Kudo* can transfer it to your site, allowing Internet viewers to access your pages.

Finally, you will need to spend some time getting your web site's page information together, either to send through to Kudo* for a custom page content design/layout, or to enter manually yourself!

Once you have everything complete, the final step is to go into the site set-up pages, where you will be able to 'activate' your site, so online viewers will be able to see it.

To speed up your registration process, please ensure all fields are filled in on the application form, that you supply your domain holder details (or give us the name details for a new domain registration) and that you collate as much content as possible to pass on to Kudo* (initially, only your business logo is required for the set-up process. If you are using Kudo* to complete you page layout, you will need to send through ALL site content prior to Kudo* making a start on your page design).

What is a Domain Name? and How does it affect my site?
A domain name is the name users will type into their address bar to find you WebTools site. Kudo* can register your domain name for you. You will need to enter the name you would like to use for your site into the relevant domain name text box in the WebTools application form. Kudo* will then make every effort to register the name you have requested, however, in the circumstance that your requested name has already been taken, Kudo* will contact you with name suggestions that best suit your needs.

When choosing a name to use for a domain name, it is important to use a name that 'end-users' will find easy to remember, a be able to spell! You don't want your site to fail simply because your domain name was difficult to find.
